It can be bad it is centered in ur lungs so if u start getting a cough then id see a doctor...i have had pneumonia every year since i dont remember when..... if you are young its not much of a chance of death if u are healthy. u should be cautious and not afraid pneumonia? It may be a simple cold, but to put your mind at ease you should go. You need to be able to tell the doctor how your father passed. Medical records and or death certificate would probably help also.
