can you still prevent a heart attack by dieting and stoping smoking or if you have the symtoms is it to late by then and it is in evetitable you will have one or can it be prevented by the above please

chest is like a weight on it being crushed have had numbness dizziness faintness all last 2 mnths. Have been chronically fatigued for last 9 mnths 0 energy all day. Totally stressed bout kidney pain for last 5 yrs every morning pain till pass urine (pass with little pressure) docs no answers as to why i have pain. Has stress caused chs pain and other symtoms? Also if i was having heart attack would i have chest pain for this long 2mnths or do heart attack probs not occour over that lenght of time but rather over few days of pain then cardiac arrest?

Well first off i am a current medical Marijuana user, so anyone that just has negative thing to say like “I shouldnt be smoking in the first place” needs to reconsider.I have had severe chest pains in the past when I smoke a specific type of MJ mostly the stronger indicas, some of these occasions have really been scary to the point I thought i was having a heart attack, I learned to control it for a while but just the other day i once again had a good scare, about to drive myself to the hospital……The pain comes quick, like a stabbing pain and I have to keep tightening my chest to make sure it doesnt sting, I have thought its an anxiety attack, thats why MJ was recommended to me for my depression and anxiety, my doctor says its from acid reflux messing with my heart, in other word Heart Burn…But i very much disagree, its too strong and from what I have researched the symtoms like the stabbing are very much like a heart attack.
Any recomended exams I should have done, ekg..etc??

ing on the left side of my arm, my left breast and my left leg.it’s a tingleling like if i slept on the left side but i did not…this tingling sensation also goes on the left side under my shoulder blade. what could this be?..and i also cannot sleep unless i have sleeping pills that the doctor gave me ..that no longer works..i sleep 2 or 3 hours and t hen wake up.these pills name ambien 10mg suppose to make you sleep for a good 8 hours .i have been taking this medication along with other depression pills; prozac 90mg weekly,wellbutren 300mg a day.hydroxyling 100mg a day sometimes 150mg a day depending how nervous i feel.i’m taking so much medication i’m thinking i’m gonna have a heart attack. i was diagnose with post traumatic stress disorder…along with anciety attacks and depression…and with all this medicine you think i be better but i don’t..feel better i still get the symtoms. i wish there was only 1 pill to take care of all of this but the doctor says no…

This morning woke up with a really bad back ache, and by noon I started getting chest pains, trouble breathing, almost as if I got air in my chest, like when one gets air in their stomach when they walk or run. Now the pain is in my back, chest , neck and a bit of my shoulders.
I really didn’t go any clinic, i’ve rested, but lying down makes it feel worst. I searched all over the internet and looking at chest pain and what it could be, and I do get a few of the symtoms of a heart attack.
I wanna get checked by tommorow, but I wanna know if its possible of getting a heart attack, or if my problem is just my nerves or stress.
Like I said im 18, weigh 110, always been healthy… untill recently been getting these pains and today the worst.

For the last couple of weeks the achs and pains I’m getting in my chest, arms, and neck is becoming more regular. I do have acid reflux and I am not sure if its gas or symtoms of a heart attack. Now its starting to keep me awake at night. I have been to the doctor before and they found nothing. Its very confusing wondering whether its gas or not!!!!!!

i was typing and got a really strong sharp pain through my left side of my chest..i couldn’t move for a few seconds…i’m warm and not pale at all..is this dangerous? My blood pressure is usually normal..in fact its always been normal..just scared atm

I am 22 years old and have been having chest pain (sharp stabbing pain) for the past 4 or 5 days now. It was accompanied with an on again off again pressure headache. As of today, I have yet to eat a thing and I woke up with these pains again. it seems to be located mostly in the lower portion of my chest- if that makes any sense- and sometimes the pains shoot down to my stomach. Just wondering if anyone else has had anything like this or can give me some insight! Thanks!

I going 2 be totally honest bout 3 years ago i got addicted to co-codamol 30/500 i was taking nearly 20 tabs per day 6 month ago i stop cause i had a feeling like my heart was comming out ov my chest went to my docs he said i was having panic attacks i have had my blood – xray – ecg done everything came bk normal i seena nother doc n he said i had anxitey he put me on 40 mg propranlol . symtoms i am getting are pain in center or my chest i have pain in left arm hand all time mainly feel dizzy alot pain in shuolder , neck , back , jaw , head presure my mood has changed alot n recently i hav spat blood i have been having these symtoms for past 6 month but i aint told me doc bout the co-codamol cant find it in me i feel ashamed i am only 20 and scared deaf for my life thanks for reading this . get bk plz .

else? i had similar symptom two years ago and went to emergency room ( that visit costed me alot, have no insurance) and they checked everything, but they told me nothing was wrong and that could be stress or anxiety attack! I have these symptoms again for the last two days, what should i do? i’m worried because it started when i was subjected to something sensual and got aroused? is it definitely a heart problem? or could these symptoms be something else?
