In England I was taught it is 30 chest compressions to 2 effective breaths in that continuous cycle. The sooner you get an AED or ALS support from paramedics/emt’s the more chance the patient has. Generally if someone is in cardiac arrest, the chances of bringing them back are very low even in? a clinical setting such as a hospital.
